Job management software for roofing crews is driving me nuts

I've been trying to get our team on the same page with scheduling jobs, but every app we've tried falls apart when it comes to tracking shingle deliveries and crew assignments for multiple roofs in a day. Switched to Acculynx last month thinking it'd handle the roofing specifics better, but the guys are still texting me updates instead of logging them in the damn thing. It's like herding cats up on a steep pitch with wind blowing everywhere. Half the time, the mobile app glitches out when you're up on a ladder trying to mark off completed sections. I know there's gotta be something that actually works without constant babysitting, but I'm about ready to chuck my phone off the next roof. Anyone else dealing with this crap?

try jobber instead, its got better offline mode for when youre up on the roof with no signal and you can actually log shingle counts without the app freezing up on ya.

acculynx is a joke for anything beyond basic estimates, ditch it for jobber if you want real crew tracking that doesnt glitch every five minutes. these software companies promise the moon but deliver crap that forces you back to texting, which is why im sticking with good old paper logs until someone builds something that actually works for roofers. half the problem is the apps arent designed by guys whove ever hauled bundles up a ladder. fight me if you think im wrong, but ive wasted too many hours on that bs.

man, acculynx sounds like a total headache, been there with software that craps out mid-job and leaves you babysitting texts instead of roofs.

man i feel that. my crews ignore the software too, end up with half-assed updates and missed material drops every time.

Same here, it's a total pain. Tried forcing training sessions but they just nod and go back to their old ways. Now I'm stuck double-checking everything myself after the fact, which eats into my time for actual bidding. FML.
