I offer $200 cash or a $500 credit towards their next job for every successful referral that books a $3k+ install with us using Owens Corning Duration shingles. Started with just word-of-mouth from my ladder crew, but now it's bringing in 2-3 solid leads a month without the hassle of cold calls. We track everything in Jobber to make sure we don't miss payouts, and it's boosted our close rate on those jobs to about 75%. Anyone else using something similar for roofing gigs?

goddamn angi leads are the worst, they charge an arm and a leg for crap referrals that ghost you half the time. good on you for sticking with the gift program, saves us all from that sales nightmare. those PE vultures buying up every decent roof company are next, jacking prices and killing the small guy. screw em, we gotta band together on this shit.
